Native. is a musician with roots spanning the globe. Born in Amsterdam, she carries the cultural legacies of Suriname, India, Africa, South America, Asia, and Europe. She identifies as a ‘Native. from Earth’ and takes pride in the growth and freedom that her journey brings.

Primarily creating RnB/Soul music, Native. enjoys blending various genres such as hip-hop, neo-soul, house, reggae, jazz, and gospel. Wherever the music takes her.

Growing up, Native. was taught the importance of education. Her father emphasized the value of having a diploma as a safety net, providing security for the future. Her mother, a singer herself, introduced her to the world of music. At the age of 7, Native. began writing her first stories and songs, and started singing at school.

From this young age, she enjoyed performing and singing as a means of self-expression. As she grew older, her love for creating music deepened. She sang in ZO! Gospel Choir for three years and performed at renowned venues in the Netherlands, including Ziggo Dome, AFAS Live, and Paradiso.

Native. has noticed that her approach to life differs from many others. She doesn’t consider herself better, because she recognizes that anyone can achieve what she has by taking action and being true to oneself. She is most proud of her willingness to take risks and her commitment to continuous learning. Although she hasn’t reached her ultimate goals yet, she remains dedicated to her growth.
